REGISTRATION

How do I register for camp?

The easiest way to register your daughter for one of our individual camps is to register online! Click the Register Now button on the right side of this page to instantly secure spot (with the exception of Team Camp).

Registration will also be accepted on the first day of each camp. At that time, cash or check only will be accepted. However, a Late Fee will be assessed.

* Late Fees (starting 6/17):

*All late fees assessed are PER PLAYER

Youth Camp - $15

General Skills Camp - $25

Team Camp - $50

Position Camp - $15

**Please keep in mind that returned checks due to insufficient funds will be charged an additional $35 fee. Please include camper's name in the memo section of the check.

What do I need to do to hold a spot?

You can hold your spot in camp by registering online. Please understand that a part of your payment ($30) is considered a non-refundable deposit and will not be refunded in case of cancellation.

What happens after I register?

Once we have received your registration and deposit, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email address you entered during registration. Additional information about the camp you registered for will be sent to that same email address as the camp date gets closer.

When should I register? Is there a Late Fee?

Many of our camps have sold out the past few years and are filling up faster and faster each year. Registrations are processed on a first come, first serve basis.

In order to provide campers an excellent coaching staff and a great ratio of campers to staff members, registrations received starting on July 2nd, 2014 will be charged:

* Late Fees (starting 6/17):

Youth Camp - $15

General Skills Camp - $25

Team Camp - $50

Position Camp - $15

What about insurance information and waivers?

 Do I receive a camp t-shirt if I register after June 17, 2018?

No. In order to make the proper arrangements for camp execution and logistics we will not be able to provide a camp t-shirt to campers registered after June 17, 2018. There might be some camp T-shirts available to buy at the day of the camp, but we can't promise this.

DORMS

What will my daughter need at the dorm?

All campers will need bed linens for an extra-long twin bed as well as a pillow. Your daughter will also need toiletries and towels.

What else should I send with my daughter?

Campers sometimes bring appropriate games, cards, mp3 players, snacks and drinks to make their stay more comfortable. Your camper should also bring an alarm clock. Please remember that ACE Volleyball is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Will the rooms have phones?

No, the rooms will not have phones and campers are not allowed to plug phones into the outlets. Campers are allowed to bring cell phones; however, ACE Volleyball is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Phones should also not be used during sessions unless approved by a coach.

How do I contact my daughter while she is at camp?

You can contact the ACE Volleyball via phone or email. You will also receive emergency contact information when you receive the additional information about your specific camp, when the camp dates get closer.

Will my child be supervised at the dorm?

Yes! Every camper is assigned to a dorm counselor.ACE Volleyball Camp Staff (camp directors, coaches, and counselors) are housed with the campers. Campers are required to be in their room by 10:30pm. Our staff will do bed checks every night at 10:30pm. We are very serious about the safety of your daughter.

What if I lose my room key?

Each camper is given a room key at registration. There is a $75 fee for a lost key (University of West Florida dorm policies). If a camper looses their room key, please notify the camp director immediately. The fee to replace a lost key can be paid to the camp. If the camper does not have the money to pay the fee, it will be billed to the parents.

What about roommate requests?

ACE
Volleyball Camp will accept roommate requests, but does not guarantee them. All requests must be complete; meaning both roommates mates must request only each other.

It is recommended that roommate requests register at the same time. Please register early so your session does not fill up and you ensure all requested parties get into camp.

PARKING

Ace Volleyball Camps will provide a Parking Pass for each camper. If parent/guardian also would like to watch the camp session and has an extra vehicle, please let a staff know and we will provide an extra Parking Permit. This pass MUST be must be displayed in order to avoid parking tickets. If a camper does not get the pass and receives parking tickets, ACE Volleyball cannot provide assistance with appeals for tickets issued by The University of West Florida and will not pay for any citations received while at camp.

SESSIONS

What should my daughter bring for a camp session?

Camper should bring T-shirts, athletic shorts/spandex, volleyball shoes, casual shoes, knee pads, spending money, water bottle, hair ties, and a bathing suit (and towel) in case we have a pool session. Please do not have your daughter wear brand new shoes during camp because they will get a lot of blisters, hindering them from performing as well as they want to (this is just an advice).
